Turkey legs for TNR! 🍗🍗

Today, OSU Institute of Technology has their big open house, Career Encounters, and our good friends and student club People for Animal Wellness Society (PAWS) will be selling smoked turkey legs and bottled water for $20 — head on over to the library and dine for a cause. All proceeds benefit the Trap-Neuter-Return program.

The smoker has been going since 4:30 AM and these will be quite a treat and are certain to go quickly! Limited supply.

Thanks to those at the helm of this event and for their endless support.

Neuterhood Watch not-so-fun Fact: In just 7 years' time, one litter of kittens = 420,000 more cats. Adopt. Spay/Neuter. And help us to curb the overpopulation. 😸

Meet Roxie! 🐶✨

Roxie is the kind of dog whose resilience will make you believe in miracles, and whose affection will make you wonder how you ever lived without her. ❤️

Found severely injured, this brave, sweet girl had to endure both major leg surgery and an emergency C-section to save her life and that of her single surviving pup. Despite everything she’s been through, Roxie hasn't lost a single drop of her trust in people. In fact, she’s emerged on the other side with the gentlest, most loving heart you could ever meet.

Roxie is a full-fledged "velcro dog" in the absolute best way! She’s currently working on the concept of personal space—mostly because she firmly believes the optimal distance between her nose and your face is zero inches. She loves giving soft kisses, and her signature move is shoving her butt right up against you to demand immediate back scratches.

Roxie has given so much of herself; now, she just needs a family to wrap their arms around her and let her be the cherished, spoiled dog she was always meant to be.

​Fun fact: Bob Jandebeur serves as the Vice President on our board and has such a huge heart for animals! In fact, his heart must emit a special beacon because that sweet Dachshund family found this week ended up right at his doorstep. (Or maybe they're just big motorsport fans! 🐾🏁)
