Oconto Falls Sno Jokers

Oconto Falls Sno Jokers The Oconto Falls Sno Jokers were established in 1969 and currently maintain over 40 miles of snowmobile trails in Oconto County.

The Sno-Jokers trail system connects with neighboring trail systems of Chase, Gillett, Krakow, and Lena. Communities located along our trail system include Oconto Falls, Morgan, Sampson, and Stiles. Our trail system passes through the Machickanee Forest, as well as other wooded and farmland countryside. The trail system also allows easy access to the city of Oconto Falls via designated city trails

and the Oconto River. We have recently opened another trail from the north side of the industrial park going west to Gillett. As a reminder, please stay on the trail system. Everyone has to remember to respect the private land the trail system passes through. It isn’t our right to snowmobile; it is a privilege, a privilege we could lose someday.

We are proud to be a part of this wonderful event. Thank you to everyone involved!

We love winter, but this is one summer event in Oconto Falls that can’t be missed! And we’ll be there serving up ice cold drinks throughout the weekend. Stop in and say Hi!

The scoop on the upcoming weekend is here. Weather is looking ridiculously awesome for the official start of summer in Oconto Falls.

The only change is the band Saturday before the fireworks will be “Diversion”.

Snowmobile Trails Update:

With snow in the forecast, we know you're wondering: will the snowmobile trails reopen?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. The 2025–2026 snowmobile season has officially closed. Many trails have no remaining base and with open water across the county, it's not safe or feasible to reopen for the season.

We know how much snowmobiling fuels our communities here in Oconto County and look forward to next winter.

Oconto Falls Sno Jokers trails remain CLOSED. The forecast looks good for low temps to freeze down all the rain we received last week, but we will need a significant amount of snow at this point to open. Wooded trails held some snow, but farm fields were bare as of 1/15.

01/06/2026

1/6/26 - Sno Jokers trial system remains closed. We have been out packing with hopes that once we receive adequate snowfall, we will be ready to open. Trails are looking good; we just need more snow. We will re-evaluate as conditions change. We would like to open and ride as bad as anyone, but there is simply not enough snow on the farm fields at this time. Sno Jokers trail system remains CLOSED!
