💙 Community Feeding Outreach Recap 💙

This past Saturday, Hope Along the Way was honored to once again serve our community through our monthly Community Feeding Outreach Initiative.

First and foremost, we extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible team of volunteers who faithfully lend their hands and hearts to serve others. Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to give of your time make this work possible. We are truly grateful for each of you.

A special thank you to the City of Winter Garden, Commissioner Nicole Wilson, and the District 1 Team for your continued partnership, support, and shared commitment to serving our community with love and compassion. Because of your support, we are able to reach individuals and families in meaningful ways and help meet critical needs throughout our community.

This weekend, we had the privilege of delivering meals to our seniors and serving residents throughout the community with:
🍽️ Fresh Lunch
🍋 Fresh lemons
🥑 Avocados
🥕 Fresh produce boxes
📦 Additional Food boxes with rice, beans, eggs, milk, bread, etc
🍗 Chicken breast
🥩 Ground beef

Every meal served, every box distributed, and every smile shared is a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to care for one another.

We count it a true honor and privilege to serve. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission as we work to spread hope, one family at a time.

- Community Feeding Update -

Due to anticipated rain today Hope Along the Way will begin our Community Feeding a little earlier than scheduled.

Please help us spread the word as we come together to serve our community with a hot meal, as well as free meat and fresh produce for individuals and families in need.

This outreach is made possible through the continued partnership and support of the City of Winter Garden and OCFL Commissioner Nicole Wilson. We are grateful for their commitment to helping us meet the needs of our residents.

Together, we are making a difference and spreading hope throughout our community—one family at a time.

We are excited to welcome the young men of Boys 2 Men Mentoring as they join Hope Along the Way in serving our community during our upcoming monthly community feeding initiative.

Hope Along the Way is proud to continue honoring the legacy of Rev. Frankie Massey through the Frankie Massey Legacy Scholarship for the 2025–2026 school year. This scholarship supports graduating seniors who reside in Winter Garden as they pursue their educational and career goals.
