Hello everyone! Wow, the middle of March already! How are you doing with "keeping hope alive" thus far? I know there's a lot going on all over the world that can cause one to lose faith and hope. My humble ask is that you do not lose HOPE and FAITH! These are God's requests and will for all of us. Hope for a brighter day and faith to keep going in the face of all challenges (personal and worldwide). We all face each day with old and new challenges. We all have a story that we are living and telling by how we overcome each and every one of life's curve balls. We can do this - survive, thrive, surrender your hate, and let life live. Ours and the lives of our close and far neighbors. I hope this is true for each of you. Let's overcome together by keeping the faith of our belief in God and having hope for his daily grace and mercy! Be kind to yourself and to others. Hello 8 Billion Souls! How's your hope muscle doing these days? What is hope? Can you see it, taste it, feel it, hear it, speak it? I believe all of us can do each of these things through the hope that lives within us. That's right, hope lives in you. In your spirit man so that the world cannot take your hope away; so, don't give it away! In my first book, "31 Days of Surrender: Respecting Life Every Day," on page 36 or Day #9 (the 31-day meditation guide), I conclude that hope is God's strategy, not man's! We can easily get caught up in the intellectualism of the world and business; even that of the many doctrines of faith. As a Christian, I subscribe to God's idea of hope in my inner man. I've selected this word, this topic to share with you this month (March). Partly because I'm honoring Reverend Jessie Jackson, who is famous for this saying, "Keep hope alive." Now is the time to heed his words. Keep hope alive and don't give into the negative, the evil, the hateful times that are present in the world today. "This too shall pass." Be encouraged and encourage others. Share your reason for having hope in the comments and with your children, spouse, family, friends and strangers. Like kindness, hope can help save the world because hope leads to positivity - even through these dark times of war, violence, su***de and gun violence. Keep hope alive everyone - every day! Hello everyone! Today's the last day of February and our official end to the Acts of Kindness challenge! How was your experience? Did you surprise someone with your kindness? What are some of the actions you took to promote love over hate? Will you continue your acts of kindness - forever? I hope you have had a life changing experience. Peace and Love (Kindness, Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, etc.) freely shared with someone can have revolutionary effects in the lives of others. I encourage you to continue being kind - every day. Our children need to see adults acting like positive, friendly and caring humans. They model our behaviors. Continue your kindness and I know it will return to you. Thanks for participating! Hello 8 Billion Souls! As we come to the end of Black History Month, I'm asking everyone to continue and to complete the Acts of Kindness Challenge in a strong manner! Make your daily positive difference in the World. I'm the guest speaker tomorrow (February 26th) at the Sanford/Seminole NAACP Violence Prevention Membership Meeting. This is one way I'm celebrating and contributing to the actions many brave and kind African Americans and other supporters of all races, ethnicities and nationalities, who have given back to this Country and the World to help make it a safer, better, more loving place for all people. Surrender Your Hate, LLC and Let Life Live, Inc., are committed to providing lifesaving solutions (conflict resolution and de-escalation training) to help our youth and all members of society return home safely every day. Gun violence must end and we are "fighting" daily to end it in all of its forms (su***de, homicide and accidental shootings)! Please join us in this monumental effort. Peace and Love will win!

Hello everyone! How have you celebrated Black History Month this year? As an author, I had the distinct privilege to be a guest speaker this past Sunday at the 18th Annual African American Read-In. The Program was exceptional. Kudos to all the participants (students, parents, the community, and committee members) in Lecanto, Florida (Citrus County). There were many great readings of poetry and prose from various African American authors like Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Amanda Gorman, to name a few. Each participant reader delivered powerful messages of hope, overcoming challenge and reminders of personal resilience as a race of Black people. Great job to all the readers and organizers of this spectacular expression in honor of African American literary history! Of course, I spoke to the need to stem and end gun violence from my new book, "Heartset More Than Mindset: A Pathway to Nonviolent Peaceful Living." We are coming to the close of February and the official end of the Acts of Kindness Challenge! If you choose, and I hope you will, you don't have to end your kindness actions when February comes to a close. Feel free to keep it going - every day!
