🔨 Volunteers Needed! Help us build a brighter future for a hardworking family right here in Marion County! Join us on the Women Build job site and be part of something life-changing.

Participate in home construction, assist on-site, and work alongside our homebuyers, staff, and other community volunteers to help create safe, affordable housing for families in need.

📅 Upcoming Tasks:
Tile installation • Final trim • Accessory installs • Final paint • Exterior cleanup — all happening this month!

🕗 Schedule:
8:00 AM Arrival & Safety Instruction
12:30 PM Final Cleanup
1:00 PM Shift Ends

👕 What to Bring & Wear:
Pink Hard Hat Society members—wear your pink hard hats, tool belts, and gloves!
Groups and sponsors—rep your company shirts.
Individual volunteers—Habitat will provide volunteer shirts.
Please wear long pants or shorts and sturdy, closed-toe shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, crocs, or dress shoes).

We’ll provide PPE, training, tools, bottled water, and snacks. No construction experience required—our team will guide you every step of the way!

🎯 Make an Impact: By helping install doors, windows, flooring, paint, or landscaping, you’ll bring a family one step closer to the strength, stability, and independence that comes with homeownership.

Hey Ocala! We’re so excited to share that Women Build volunteer opportunities are now OPEN!

This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, grab a hammer, and help make a lasting difference right here in Marion County. You’ll be side-by-side with other incredible women (and men who support them!) building not just homes, but strength and community.

Fun fact: a lot of the recent construction tasks—those that had to be handled by subcontractors for insurance reasons—were done by women-owned companies and women crew members. Now it’s YOUR turn to take the spotlight!

We’re proud to celebrate their incredible Pink Hard Hat Society members. Dawn Magnuson and Cam Lindquist rolled up their sleeves and came out to work on-site—Cam lending her skills on the electrical and Dawn jumping in wherever needed. And behind them is the leadership of Sabrina Godwin, co-owner of Roam Electric, whose commitment to this initiative makes their support even more meaningful.
