Our end-of-year celebration is almost here! Join us on Monday, May 11 at Gia Visto as we come together to celebrate another successful year ✨ We will present our scholarship to the recipient, announce our donations, reflect and celebrate another successful year.

💙 RWA Special Charities Meeting 💙

On Monday, we gathered for our annual Special Charities Meeting, an evening focused on learning more about people and organizations making a difference in our community.

We heard from Glimmer of Hope, sharing updates on their work in the fight against breast cancer and the impact they’re making locally. We also learned more about the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and their efforts in awareness, education, and support.

We were also proud to receive a check from the Verona Eagles representing proceeds from our March Bingo fundraiser - thank you to everyone who came out to support!

Each year, RWA designates a portion of our fundraising to support these special charities as part of our mission of Empowering Women. Making a Difference. 💙

🌸 Join Us Tomorrow Night! 🌸

We're excited to host our Special Charities Meeting on Monday, April 13th at 7PM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 378 Delaware Ave, Oakmont. Board meets at 6PM.

We’re welcoming two incredible speakers:
✨ Diana Napper, founder of Glimmer of Hope, will share updates on her organization’s fight against breast cancer, new treatments, and how Glimmer of Hope is making an impact right here in our community.
✨ Dr. Stephanie Archer, MD, a local UPMC physician, will speak about the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), raising awareness, education, and support for ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers.

Your presence makes a difference! A strong turnout helps create a dynamic and engaging discussion for everyone.

🎉 What a month of Bingo! 🎱

Our March Bingo Fundraiser was an incredible success, and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing group of people behind it.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who gave their time and energy each week — from organizing and setup to selling tickets, baking, and everything in between. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. 💙

We’re also so grateful to everyone who donated prizes, brought baked goods, helped spread the word, and invited friends and family along. You helped create such a fun, welcoming atmosphere every Friday night.

And to our players — thank you for showing up, having fun, and supporting RWA. Whether you yelled “Bingo!” or just came out to enjoy the night, you were a big part of what made this event so special.

Throughout the month, we came together for fun, laughter, and a shared purpose — and it’s a great reminder of what we can accomplish as a community.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission of Empowering Women. Making a Difference. 💙
