For more than 14 years, we have had the privilege of witnessing Commissioner Melissa P. Dunn's unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and community engagement.

Long before she was elected Commissioner, our paths crossed through her dedicated work with the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce, where she consistently demonstrated a passion for bringing people together, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our community. Throughout the years, she has remained a trusted partner, advocate, and servant leader whose actions have always reflected her commitment to uplifting others.

This past April, our Media & Communications Director Frantz Cerant proudly honored Commissioner Dunn during the 7 Pieces of the Master event in recognition of her years of service and impact.

Scripture reminds us in Galatians 6:9:
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Relationships built on service, trust, and genuine care for others are among God's greatest blessings. Community is not built in a day—it is cultivated through years of showing up, serving faithfully, and investing in people.
