📣 Happy Monday, Cheer Families! 💙📣

Today is our first day of practice, and we are so excited to kick off the season! 🎉

📍 Practice Location:
Yosemite High School – We will be practicing on the small grass field across the bridge from the Hangtree Lane dirt parking lot. If you have trouble finding us, please don’t hesitate to call one of the coaches. We’ll be happy to help you get to the right place!

⏰Time : 6-8pm

📋 Paperwork Reminder:
Along with the registration paperwork that was posted last week, please bring the following if you haven’t already:

* Copy of your athlete’s birth certificate
* Copy of parent/guardian photo ID 

💧 Hydration is a MUST!
Please make sure your cheerleader arrives with plenty of water to last through practice. With the temperatures being so high, hydration is extremely important.

If an athlete arrives without water, they will be asked to sit out until water is brought to them. This is not a disciplinary action—it is for their safety. Preventing heat-related illness is one of our top priorities, and we want to help our athletes build good habits from day one.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or Miss Gennica. We’re here to help and will do our best to get you the answers you need.

Here’s a quick checklist to help our little athletes arrive ready for their first day!

Practice is from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yosemite High School practice field. We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

🚨 Today is also the last day to register for football! Don’t miss out on a fun and exciting season with the Yosemite Badgers!

📣🎀 CHEER FAMILIES – FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE! 🎀📣
The wait is almost over—we’re so excited to kick off our season!
📅 First Practice: Monday, July 27�🕕 Time: 6:00–8:00 PM�📍 Location: Yosemite High School
📍 Where to Meet: Please park in the dirt parking lot on Hangtree Lane and take the bridge over to the grass field behind the football scoreboard. You can’t miss us!
A few important reminders:�✨ Warm-up fittings will take place during practice.�💙 Warm-up payments will also be collected that evening.�💲Cost is $120 for a standard warm-up or $140 with personalized embroidery.
🚨 Sports Physical Reminder: Every athlete must turn in a completed sports physical before or on the first day of practice in order to participate. Unfortunately, if we do not have a current sports physical on file, your cheerleader will not be permitted to practice until one is received.
👟 Practice Shoes: Please DO NOT wear your game day cheer shoes to practice. Wear comfortable athletic tennis shoes that can get dirty and provide good support for conditioning and drills. Save your game day shoes for games and special events!
💧 What to Bring: Please have your cheerleader arrive a few minutes early wearing comfortable athletic clothing, athletic shoes, bow and bringing plenty of water to stay hydrated. Athlete to show up without water will not be permitted to practice.

📣💙 Who’s Ready for Our First Stunting Clinic?! 💙📣

We’re so excited to kick off the 2026 season with our very first Yosemite Badgers Stunting Clinic! This is a great opportunity for our cheerleaders to build confidence, learn new skills, and work together as a team.

📅 Stunting Clinic: July 19
🕑 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Power Cheer
110 W. Pontiac Way, Suite 114
Clovis, CA 93612

Please make sure your cheerleader brings:
✔️ Sideline shoes
✔️ Provided clinic top & shorts
✔️ A water bottle

⏰ Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to find parking and get your cheerleader checked in and settled before the clinic begins.

📣 Clinic Wear Pickup
🗓️ July 13
📍 Round Table Pizza
🕓 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

If you are unable to make the pickup, don’t worry! Your cheerleader’s clinic wear will be given to them at the stunting clinic.

Hey everyone! Just a friendly reminder that our parent meeting and uniform fitting is this Saturday May 2nd!Times are staggered by team, and teams are based on the grade your child will be entering this upcoming fall:

K–3: P*e Wee 3:00 pm
4–6: Juniors 12:00 pm
7–8: Seniors 9:00 am

*If you have more than one child on different teams, you only need to attend one of the fitting times.

Please have your child wear either a swimsuit or spandex-style clothing to make fittings easier.

The Team Center is located directly across the street from Yosemite High School.

Although the parent meeting and uniform fitting are mandatory, I understand that many families are still in baseball and volleyball season, and life happens. Our times are limited because we only have the fit kits for a short period, so please contact me as soon as possible if you need to make alternate arrangements.
