We are 10 days away from graduation and celebrating our YHS senior class at Sober Grad 2026! It is not too late to turn in permission slips - please pick them up in the YHS office and get them turned in ASAP!! We are also looking for donations… Monetary contributions and raffle prizes are always welcome and appreciated! This event is fully funded by our community and YHS families! Mark your calendars! YHS PTA is hosting SOBER GRAD 2026 💙 Immediately following graduation ceremony on June 12th! Doors open at 10pm - check in by 11pm. Grads won’t want to miss it! Permission slips to be distributed to grads in the coming weeks & available at the senior project fair on May 19! This event is FREE for YHS grads! We are still looking for a few more parent volunteers… we are also accepting raffle prizes & monetary donations! Please contact or if you’d like to help out!

YHS PTA would like to thank our community members for their donations to support our participation in the 25th annual Christmas tree auction at Tenaya Lodge last weekend. A HUGE thank you to the generous members of Yosemite Strength and Training, as well as Southgate Brewery, the Tashiro family & the Shockley family… your kindness & generosity helped us create a beautiful tree with many great prizes! Our tree was designed and decorated by Dahnyalle Reden and Henri Chastain and sold for (drumroll)…… $4500! We are so thankful! All proceeds will help us host a great 2026 Sober Grad party for our seniors next year! Thank you also to the Reden family for the job of tree delivery. It is a huge community effort and undertaking to put a tree together for this event, and we are truly grateful to everyone who came together to help make this such a success. Happy holidays to all!

YHS PTA would like to send out our CONGRATULATIONS to the Yosemite High School Class of 2025! We would like to take a moment to recognize our MANY sponsors, vendors, volunteers and local service organizations who helped us pull together the most EPIC SOBER GRAD event on June 12, 2025! Thank you!! We had over 80 students attend our all-night FREE event. We fed our grads until they couldn’t eat another bite.. they enjoyed tacos, pizza, cinnamon rolls, snacks, desserts & candy galore! There was so much to do… from the traditional Badger Bingo to the huge waterslide, axe throwing, CHP “drunk goggle” obstacle course, mechanical bull, casino tables, airbrush tattoos, karaoke, caricatures, photo booths, old school relay games, pickleball, 9-square volleyball and MORE… these seniors did not have a moment to spare! There were so many amazing raffle prizes that it took us almost an hour to give everything away! Thanks to the support of our community we were able to give away cash & amazing prizes… cash drawings every hour, laptops, electric scooters, camping equipment, dorm room & first apartment essentials, TONS of gift cards and the list goes on! Thank you to all who donated your time, energy, ideas, prizes & monetary contributions! This event was truly one of a kind! We wish you well Yosemite High School Class of 2025! 💙🩵💙

YHS GRADS! WE LOVE OUR CLASS OF 2025! It is officially 9 days until Graduation AND until the BEST YHS Sober Grad EVER! Please get your permission slips from the office and return them by Monday, June 9th! Don't miss out!

YHS PTA would like to invite you to partner with us and our local community to support Sober Grad 2024. We are in need of sponsors, as well as monetary and prize donations from our YHS families, staff, local businesses and anyone in the community who would like to be a part of this GREAT event! Please let us know how you would like to support our Class of 2025!

Senior Parents ** Please encourage friends and family to support Sober Grad by sharing this letter and telling them about the event. Sober Grad is a wonderful tradition in a safe and sober enviroment where your seniors will enjoy food, games, activities and raffle prizes all night long -- this event is also 100% FREE for all YHS grads! Sober Grad permission slips will be coming soon. Your seniors will receive them in-person and they will also be available in May via Parent Square. ALL attending seniors MUST have a signed permission slip to attend Sober Grad. This event is PTA sponsored for YHS seniors only, sorry no guests.
