Several women within Journey of Hope were asked: What is your testimony?
The amazing Amber said...
"My name is Amber, and I am a mother of five amazing children. Motherhood has been the greatest blessing of my life, but it has also come with challenges that have tested my strength in ways I never imagined.
Over the past several years, I have experienced difficult pregnancies, premature births, and the emotional roller coaster of having not one, but two babies in the NICU. Watching your child fight to grow and thrive is something that changes you. There were days filled with fear, uncertainty, exhaustion, and questions about what the future would hold. At times, I felt overwhelmed trying to balance the needs of my children while also taking care of myself.
Despite the challenges, I have always held on to my dreams. I want to create a stable, loving, and successful future for my family. I want my children to grow up knowing they are deeply loved and that no obstacle is too great to overcome. I want them to see resilience, determination, and hope through my example.
When I came to Journey of Hope, I was looking for support, encouragement, and resources to help me continue moving forward. I wanted to grow not only as a mother but also as a woman. I needed a reminder that my goals still matter and that investing in myself helps me become the best version of myself for my children.
Since joining the program, I have gained confidence, support, and a stronger belief in my ability to reach my goals. Journey of Hope has provided me with encouragement during difficult seasons and has connected me with people who genuinely care about my success. The program has helped me see that my story is not defined by my struggles but by how I continue to rise above them.
Today, I am focused on building a brighter future for my family. I am working toward personal growth, financial stability, and creating opportunities for myself and my children. My journey is still unfolding, and I know there will be challenges ahead, but I face them with more hope than before.
Journey of Hope has reminded me that I am stronger than I sometimes give myself credit for. It has shown me that even during life’s hardest moments, there is support, encouragement, and hope available. I am grateful for everything I have learned and for the opportunity to continue growing.
My story is still being written, but today I can say that I am moving forward with hope, faith, and determination for the future."
