Last night was the Soaring Eagle District Dinner and several members of our Troop were recognized. Landen S and Jen H were awarded Scouter of the Year for 35B and Haley S and Ashley B-Z were awarded Scouter of the Year for 35G. Scouter of the Year is awarded to scouts and leaders that demonstrate exceptional Scput spirit, leadership and community service within the Troop and in their personal life.

Ashley B-Z was also awarded the District Award of Merit. This award is is provided to adult leaders that provide outstanding service to youth, both in the Troop and at the District level. Ashley has stepped up in many ways for our District taking on the day camp and twilight programs, besides many others.

The Arrow of Light (AOL) crossover ceremony marks the transition from Cub Scouting to Scouts BSA, symbolizing growth, adventure, and the "flying up" to new challenges. This week we attended the first two crossovers of this special time of year.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁

Today a scout is thankful. Thankful for all that is good. Thankful to be a true scout family, full of ups and downs, twist and turns, leasons learned, mixed with adventures.

We are thankful for our parent leaders and all that you do to make scouting possible. To all of families that courage and support our scouts and their troops.

Popcorn season has begun!!! We will be selling popcorn at the Texas Roadhouse in Shiloh IL until 8pm. Come out and support the scouts!!

Earning Merit Badges is rewarding. Camping is a great experience. Serving others, the community and the environment will instill a sense of pride and respect for your surroundings.

We 💙💛 AOL Crossovers! Last week was very busy with Blue and Glod Ceremonies and Crossovers. Troop 35 has 5 new members this last week alone.

Welcome to our newest member from Pack 21 and Pack 35!! We’re thrilled you earned your Arrow of Light and that you’re continuing your Scouting journey with us! We were honored to be part of your ceremony and look forward to our many adventures ahead.

Scouts of all ages, leaders, and parents are out all across town today delivering Scouting for Food bags. Say hello and wave. We’ll be back next Saturday for pick up. Please drive extra carefully today with all the excited scouts out and about working on their national good turn. Thank you and have a blessed weekend.

REMINDER: The blue bags will be out starting this weekend! Fill them up with non-perishable foods and leave them on your porch on November 23rd to be collected. 🙏🥫
