Meet Max Baldwin, a young leader proving that you're never too young to make a BIG difference!

In just 8 days, Max will take on his 3rd JAX Golf Marathon, playing 100 holes in ONE day to support local patients and families facing cancer.

12 years old. Cancer survivor. Golfer with a mission.

Meet Jay Fabrega, the youngest participant in our upcoming 2026 JAX Golf Marathon, and an inspiration to us all!

This past summer, Jay reached an incredible milestone, completing 2.5 years of treatment for T-cell leukemia. Now, this remarkable young man is turning his love of golf into an opportunity to give back.

On October 23rd, Jay will take on the JAX Golf Marathon, raising funds and awareness for The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, helping provide critical financial support to Northeast Florida families navigating a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

Jay knows firsthand the challenges these families face. And at just 12 years old, he's determined to make the journey a little easier for others. 💚

One woman’s courage. One runner’s determination. A community united to make a $40,000 difference. 💚

Inspired by the strength and courage of his sister-in-law, Stephanie Oppenheimer Streb, following her breast cancer diagnosis, 2026 Team GFC Boston Marathon runner Aaron Thomas rallied his community to turn his miles into meaningful impact for others facing cancer.

Through the generosity of more than 100 friends, family members, and colleagues, Aaron raised an incredible $40,000, with the funds recently directed by GFC through a grant to The Red Devils, a Maryland nonprofit providing critical support to breast cancer patients and their families.

On Friday night, Aaron and Stephanie proudly represented GFC at The Red Devils' annual gala, celebrating the impact made possible by a community coming together.

This is the power of the GFC community. One person's courage inspiring another to take action, uniting others to make an immediate and tangible difference for families facing cancer.

The final putts may have dropped in June, but the impact of the 2026 New England Golf Marathon is reaching far beyond the course ⛳💚

This year, Golf Fights Cancer is distributing more than $850,000 in critical funding to 20 nonprofit partners, supporting early detection, research into rare and aggressive cancers, financial assistance for families, opportunities for respite and connection, and palliative care and grief programs.

One of 20 grants made possible by this year’s Golf Marathon, this $55,000 award to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation is already turning the generosity of so many into meaningful support for families affected by cancer.

🎉 A GFC FIRST!

We’re excited to introduce the first-ever Golf Fights Cancer High School Club, launched this year at Ponte Vedra High School by veteran JAX Golf Marathoner & Ambassador, Max Baldwin!

The club is already turning enthusiasm into impact, bringing together students who want to use their time, talents, and voices to make a difference for patients and families affected by cancer.

And they’re not wasting any time 💚⛳️

Members of the club have formed a team to take on the 2026 JAX Golf Marathon at Blue Sky Golf Club on Friday, October 23, raising funds, raising awareness, and showing that you’re never too young to make a meaningful difference.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome this next generation of philanthropists into the GFC community and watch where they take it from here.
