Our organization is dedicated to supporting and uplifting those who serve our country and communities. We foster an environment that ack

nowledges the physical and mental toll of a life devoted to service and aims to erase the stigma surrounding mental health. At Scars and Stripes 1776, we recognize the unique challenges faced by Military personnel, Police, Firefighters, EMS, Corrections officers, Nurses, and 911 Dispatchers. Our mission is to unite this community and provide avenues for support that cater to individual needs, as standard approaches might not resonate with everyone. We accomplish this through our charity ride days and "Throttle Therapy" program. Throttle Therapy is riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, or other vehicles as a form of mental and emotional healing. It provides a sense of freedom, focus, and adrenaline that helps clear the mind, reduce stress, and build camaraderie among riders. For many Veterans and First Responders, Throttle Therapy is more than just a ride; it's a way to reconnect, process emotions, and find support within a like-minded community. We are committed to preventing the loss of more lives to su***de among our brave Veterans and First Responders than those lost in the line of duty. We focus on raising awareness, fostering understanding, and encouraging individuals to seek the help they need without fear or hesitation. By supporting or joining Scars and Stripes 1776, you become part of a movement that honors the sacrifices of those who serve while striving to prevent further loss. Together, we endeavor to ensure that our Military Veterans, First Responders, and their families survive and thrive.

Today, the members of Mansfield Firefighters Local 1820 pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it is a time to reflect on the courage, selflessness, and dedication of those who gave everything to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful to all who have served, and especially to those who laid down their lives for others.

From all of the Firefighters of Local 1820, we thank our veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice, and will forever honor their legacies!
