The Norton Lions Club joins the community in mourning the loss of Kent Taylor after his courageous battle with brain cancer. He was such a strong supporter of our club’s Youth Speech Competition - truly helping us to get it going in Norton and working with many students through the District and State Level competitions. He used to have so many students wanting to compete that he had to start having a small competition at the school and just sending us the top 8. The immense volume of participants was a direct result of who he was and his ability to connect with and inspire his students. We are so grateful for Kent’s support of our club and community and are sending our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

The Lionistic year 2025-2026 has come to an end! Thank you to our members and community for such a fun and meaningful year. 😊 Our first meeting of the new Lionistic year will take place in September, and we are always looking for new members… so if you’d like to help us make next year even better… ask us about joining!! 🦁
