๐พ Help share some of our furry pals over at LC4 ๐พ
UPDATE!!! Thanks to all your love and support the Ice Bros have found a home! โค๏ธ๐ซถ๐ป
๐จURGENT PLEA๐จ
ETA-Clarification: Nick and Jerome are not currently at risk of euthanasia!
When we say this is urgent, we mean that we have been pleading for help for these boys for months with little to no response. We are trying to intervene before their situation reaches a crisis point.
The shelter environment is taking a toll on them. We are watching the spark fade from their eyes, and we do not want to wait until they are completely shut down before asking for help again.
These boys have spent over six months in the shelter. They are loved by staff, volunteers, and supporters throughout our community. They have touched so many lives, but they still donโt have a place to call home

It breaks our heart to write this post. But this is the last chance the Ice Bros have.
๐We are looking to get these boys out of the shelter ASAP. Theyโre a bonded pair that would do better together, but do not have to be adopted together. Their story is widely known (links in comments), theyโve made connections in the community, theyโre great dogs- but no one has come to save them.
๐The shelter environment is getting to them, badly. And weโre worried it may be another Kenya situation, far too soon (story also in comments).
Hereโs what weโre willing to do:
โขFriends will sponsor their adoption fees
โขFriends will pay for training (including board and train if chosen) as soon as an approved trainer is available (we have a few lined up and ready to work with these 2)
โขFriends will provide continued support to their adopters -financially, resources, supplies, whatever is needed to help these 2 adjust to their new home(s)
If you or anyone you know can take on these guys- PLEASE reach out, NOW. Before itโs too late for them๐
