Another terrific camp season has ended. Much of the credit goes to our outstanding counselors. They gave the campers five weeks they will remember with big smiles. The counselors faced each challenge with humor and professionalism. We can’t thank you enough.

For those kiddos who love trains, the Autism Transit Project is coming to Chicago!

This project offers children on the spectrum the chance to record a regular subway service announcement that would then be played throughout the CTA transit system in April for Autism Acceptance Month. It is a way that the CTA will honor its special relationship with some special children.

You can see some of the media coverage this project has received from The New York Times, NBC Nightly News, NPR national, GMA, etc.

Any child in the Chicago metropolitan area who might like to have their own voice heard by making a CTA announcement that riders hear can DM me or -- better yet! -- have their family email us at: [email protected].
