We'd just like to say a huge thank you to all our supporters tonight. We realize that fireworks in October can be a polarizing issue for some, let alone any time of year. And we do realize that there are people and pets who have certain issues with the noise and lights caused by it. We are not blind to it.
That said, when a person asks another person to accommodate their needs they often don't think of the opposite. They often don't think of the desire or appreciation of another person of a show like this. There are many people who genuinely appreciate this kind of show at any time of year. Many people who don't have an issue with the sound or the lights. And while we do want to be inclusive of everybody we have to respect the fact that there's no such thing as making everybody happy. So sometimes we have to do the things that will make our majority happy even if it is not pleasant for a few. That said, I'd like you all to take a little bit of perspective. We do this roughly twice a year for about an hour at a time and that equates to about 0.023% of your year. Imagine if we expected everybody to accommodate us within that kind of percentage? We would not allow anybody to offend us or give us a hard time in any way whatsoever that was greater than once every 167 days. I think we can all agree that that's not the way the world works. So, please let's have a little perspective folks. I realize things can be frustrating and even more than that for some, but please take things into context and understand the bigger picture. The world doesn't revolve around you nor does it revolve around us. So we are going to do what is best for our members and our community in the majority and we will gladly apologize to the minority. We don't want to disinclude anybody and we welcome everybody. We wish all a good night and a good holiday season.
