Rhode Island Magic The RI Magic is a youth basketball program for boys’ grades 2-12 & girls' grades 4th-9th.

Our top 9th, 10th, and Varsity boys’ teams are part of Hoop Group's Academic Exposure League(HGAL), competing in top venues against the most challenging competition.

9th Branch advanced to the semi-finals before falling to Central Mass Chaos and finish up theZG Summer Tip Off. After a tough loss to YN Elite, this team came back strong with a big win against Rip City. This team’s successes this weekend were a TOTAL team effort with multiple players contributing. Leaders in scoring on Sunday were Shane Aul-Branch, 22 pts. & 16 pts., Jhonathan Guzman, 18 pts. & 12 pts, Ethan Sodhi, 14 pts., and before leaving with a tough injury, Noah D’Agostino with 8 pts. Playing aggressive, suffocating defense all day were Ian Astacio and Jaydasyn Villa combining for double digit offensive and defensive rebounds and dominating in the paint. Alex Colvin and Luke Zorian controlled the tempo with their ball handling on offense and speed on defense, with Luke hitting four 3-pointers and Alex leading in steals and assists. Great TEAM effort!

Congratulations to 9th Major on their 60-44 Championship win over TNE CT in the ZG Summer Tip-Off 🔥🏆

Despite being short-handed on Sunday, the six available players fought hard and played a complete game. Johnny Wozniak and Styles Montiero took care of the ball in the backcourt, Joey Broccoli and Timmy Major controlled the paint, Patrick Wingate contributed phenomenal gap help defense that forced misses, and Greg Major added 7 points off the bench in the first half to help the team take an 11-point lead into the half! An impressive weekend to open up their summer season!

5th Basilio Arias caps off their spring season with a 4-0 weekend at the ZG Summer Tip-Off 🔥🏆

This team battled all spring, proving to be one of the top 5th grade groups in the area. Their ball movement, spacing, and shooting ability helped lead them to victory today! Jarriell Dilone led the way with 18 points in the championship game!

2-0 start at the ZG Summer Tip Off for 5th Basilio Arias 👀

They begin their day with a win over The Academy 59-44. Cooper knocked down some great shots with 5 three pointers! Patrick did a great job on controlling the glass, and Nigel poured in 13 points in the first half to give the team a great lead. Another great nail bitter win against a talented Middlesex Magic team 51-50. Jarriell led the team in scoring with 16 points while Rob was crashing hard for offense rebounds helping the team get many extra possessions! Darwin Mayo poured in the game winning layup!
