The Copperbridge Foundation is pleased to recommend this special Centennial event organized by the City of North Miami.

As North Miami proudly celebrates its 100th Anniversary, this unique evening will bring together a remarkable group of North Miami Senior High School alumni whose contributions have helped shape our city and extend its influence far beyond our community. It is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, celebrate our achievements, and discuss the future of North Miami.

We are especially proud that Geo Darder, Founder of the Copperbridge Foundation, has been invited to serve as one of the panelists. He will share his perspectives on North Miami’s Past, Present, and Future, drawing from decades of community involvement, cultural leadership, and civic engagement.

Join us for this inspiring historical journey and celebration of the people, places, and stories that have defined North Miami over the past century.

INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR ARTISTS: $40,000 Mural Commission! 🎨

We are launching the La Victoria Miami Collection Mural Project with (District 4),
, and to bring world-class art to

The Mural:
We need a cohesive two-wall narrative honoring six decades of the Cuban and Cuban-American relationship
celebrating friendship, resilience, and heritage. These murals are approximately 500 sq ft and 1400 square ft.

📍 The Location
1900 SW 25th Ter, Miami, FL. Located at five luxury Art Deco townhomes by Coconut Grove, visible to US-1 and Metrorail commuters (45M annual impressions).

🏆 Selection Criteria
Aesthetic Excellence: Quality, originality, and innovation.
Experience: Proven ability to handle large-scale public art.
Relevance: Contextual design translatable to wall dimensions.
Budget: Clear, competitive, and realistic plan.
👥 Eligibility: 18 emerging, mid-career, or established artists (individuals or teams). Realistic, abstract, or interactive styles welcome.

Bringing forth the Cuban nature of creation through the seven Afro-Cuban descendant artists, we have embraced resilience, perseverance, and no boundaries.

Our rich programming in No Seasoning delved deep into the artistic dimensions of outsider art—from personal expression to civic and mental health awareness, both in Cuba and globally—bringing these powerful narratives into our personal community.

Copperbridge, alongside Naemi, is honored to close this chapter with you, in a night of ceremonial drumming, as we step together into a new horizon.
