Stop Violence Against Women | HOH4C Stands Present

Violence against women is not only a women’s issue it is a community issue. When a woman suffers violence, the whole family is affected, and too often children pay the highest price.

At House of Hope for Children (HOH4C), we stand firm to say NO to violence. We are committed to protecting women, supporting families, and ensuring a safer future for children.

Because for us, children are our priority.

A society that protects women is a society that protects children.

On March 8, 2026, in recognition of International Women’s Day, HOH4C joined forces with several partners to provide essential health services to an internally displaced persons camp located in the Ouest Department of Haiti.
This humanitarian outreach initiative was implemented in collaboration with:
EPASI
AHF (AIDS Healthcare Foundation) Haiti
SÈVI
MSPP (Ministry of Public Health and Population)
FHADIMAC
Services Socio-Sanitaire
The activity aimed to improve access to healthcare for displaced families living in highly vulnerable conditions.
During this outreach activity, displaced community members received access to:
Screening and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
Screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs)
General medical consultations
Ophthalmology services and eye examinations

These services are essential in displacement settings where healthcare access is limited and untreated conditions can quickly become life-threatening.
