🤍 Yesterday, the Lighthouse of SWFL was proud to once again participate in White Cane Day and Vision Expo, alongside our Lee County, FL Library , Florida Division of Blind Services and other wonderful organizations serving our blind and low-vision community. We were also grateful for the continued support and companionship of the Fort Myers Police Department !
White Cane Day raises awareness about blindness and low vision while celebrating the independence, safety, and mobility the white cane represents. It is also a reminder of the importance of accessibility, inclusion, and community support.
Together, we continue working toward a more inclusive community where everyone can thrive! 💙
