To provide for the preservation of home and household needs when the primary provider is laid up, during the recovery As most of us are aware, there is all sorts of educational information available for motorists and motorcyclists. Many organizations exist to raise awareness of bikers, help on the front side of riding. But what help is there on the downside, after the unthinkable happens. After seeing so many injured riders, in hospitals and at their homes, We started thinking about how they were going to stay afloat financially, during the recovery time. Even with great insurance, how were these bikers going to cover their mortgage/rent, power bills, cell phone, or even put food on the family table. Especially if the injured is the primary bread winner. Seriously thinking, that's a big nut to cover. Even with the best insurance, that person waits 60+ days for the first check. The thought was, there has to be a better way, better than holding a 'Run' of some sort. These runs only raise maybe $2500.00 at best. While its help, it may help for 20 to 30 days. What if the injured is laid up for 1-2 months, or longer, or permanently? This curiosity grew into discussions with friends and family, and a basic plan was developed. We have put together a very diverse group of bikers from different backgrounds and experiences, we then revised our plan many times. Over the last 6-8 months we've researched acccidents, compiled local, state and federal information, and received more feedback than can be imagined, both positive and negative, but mostly positive. We've put together an Operations Plan, a Business Plan, sought legal assistance, sought out an Accounting firm. We've assembled a BOD, to oversee our operations, applied for 501(c)3 status, Incorporated ourselves, filed numerous state applications, and now believe that we are ready, ready to take the whole thing public. We would like you to see the beginnings of HOPE. Hope for those injured bikers, who, for themselves or their families, cannot imagine what their future holds.
