Dear Travelers on the Path of Dhamma,

Be happy!

Keep the torch of Dhamma alight! Let it shine brightly in your daily life. Always remember, Dhamma is not an escape. It is an art of living: living in peace and harmony with oneself and also with all others. Hence, try to live a Dhamma life.
Don't miss your daily sittings each morning and evening.
Whenever possible, attend weekly joint sittings with other Vipassana meditators.
Do a ten-day course as an annual retreat. This is essential to keep you going strong.
With all confidence, face the spikes around you bravely and smilingly.
Renounce hatred and aversion, ill will and animosity.
Generate love and compassion, especially for those who do not understand Dhamma and are living an unhappy life.
May your Dhamma behavior show them the path of peace and harmony. May the glow of Dhamma on your faces attract more and more suffering people to this path of real happiness.

May all beings be happy, peaceful, liberated.

Men servers are needed for the upcoming 30-day course, beginning October 8, 2026.
Course servers support those sitting the long course, participate in three group sittings each day, and have the opportunity to meet with the teachers. Serving on a long course is a special opportunity to deepen one's practice.

Part-time servers are welcome to apply for the beginning of the course.

Dhamma service is a form of donation whereby a student is given an opportunity to express their gratitude. This sense of gratitude arises when an old student recalls how they found the center facilities, the dining hall and the food service on their course: clean, functional, abundant, and welcoming. They now have an opportunity to give that same support to other students through Dhamma Service.

From September 9th to September 20th, Dhamma Mahāvana is holding a Farsi-English 10-day course. We are happy to report that the course is currently full for students. In order for any course to be able to run, Dhamma servers are essential to assist in roles like course manager in the Dhamma Hall, or working in the kitchen to prepare and serve meals, cleaning the dining halls, etc.

Currently, the course is seeking support from Men Servers as there is only 1 enrolled. If you have the volition and availability to serve this course, please submit an application online: https://www.dhamma.org/en-US/schedules/schmahavana
