Jared Rene in the striped shirt. Zac Phillip is the tall kid behind Jared Rene. Brent Mattson is smaller kid in the white tee and long sleeved shirt. Jason Stepp is behind Joe Lewellin. Behind Jason is Scott Anderson. Scott is the kid with glasses. I can’t recall the name of the kid to the far right.

Significant NBHS alumni passing – Sharalyn (Blomquist) Olson, Class of 1958, passed away on April 2, 2026 at the age of 85. Sharalyn had life-long ties to the Almelund community in addition to the North Branch Olson family through husband Carrol (“Butch”) Olson. Sharalyn was the 1958 Homecoming Queen. ROGER NELSON – Dec 13, 1932- Nov 12, 2025 has passed away at 92. ANYONE who grew up in North Branch from the 40’s to the present day remember Roger for his indelible mark on the community in the form of Nelson's Country Market, his trumpeting and community involvement. I’ll let the wonderfully detailed obituary take you back through North Branch history. A must read.
