We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 I Run for Girls 5K Run/Walk.

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, we invite our community of supporters, partners, and champions for girls to join Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey at the Orange Reservoir in West Orange for one of our most impactful annual events.

The I Run for Girls 5K is where community meets purpose—bringing together runners, walkers, families, and corporate partners in support of building confidence, leadership, and opportunity for girls across New Jersey.

This USATF-sanctioned event features a professionally timed race followed by a vibrant, festival-style celebration with music, family activities, and opportunities to connect as a community.

Whether participating individually or as a team, every registration helps support girls across New Jersey as they build confidence, courage, and leadership skills that last a lifetime.

Registration is live now, and sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Event Schedule: Registration opens at 8:00 AM, opening remarks begin at 8:30 AM, and the race starts at 9:00 AM.

Your Girl Scout’s favorite stuffed animal is invited to camp! 🏕️

Join us for Stuffed Animal Campout at Camp DeWitt, where Girl Scouts will enjoy games, crafts, outdoor fun, a campfire dinner, and s’mores with their Stuffy before sending them off on their own two-week camp adventure.

While the Stuffies are away, our Stuffy Camp Counselors will photograph their camp fun so Girl Scouts can see what their stuffed animal was up to. Participants will also receive a fun patch and mini photo album.

This program is open to members and non-members, so Girl Scouts can bring a friend and earn a special Bring a Friend fun patch.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey’s 2nd Annual Community Celebration!

We’re so grateful to the families, community members, volunteers, staff, and partners who came together to make this event such a meaningful day of connection, discovery, and fun. From hands-on activities and community resources to conversations that celebrated possibility and belonging, the day was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we come together in support of girls and their futures.

A special thank you to all of our nonprofit and community partners for helping bring this celebration to life. Your support helps create spaces where girls can explore, lead, learn, and feel connected to the communities around them.
