Our mission: to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. Our vision: To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.

🍔 Come find the North Adams Lions food truck at the Downtown Celebration this Wednesday! 🌭

Join us on Wednesday, August 12th, 5:30 – 8:00 PM (rain date Thursday, August 13th) for the 29th Annual North Adams Downtown Celebration! We'll be set up in at the corner of Holden and Main serving up:

🍔 Burgers
🌭 Hot dogs
🌶️ Sausage, peppers & onions
🍪 Chips & cookies
🥤 Beverages

Every bite supports a good cause....all proceeds go right back into the community. Cash and card accepted, so come hungry!

Main Street and surrounding areas (Eagle, Holden, and the northern portion of Ashland Street) will be closed to vehicle traffic for this all-ages street fair featuring live music, local vendors, giveaways, and great food all around. Stop by, say hello, and support your friendly North Adams Lions while you're at it!

📢 Big news for Northern Berkshire residents! 👓

The North Adams Lions Club and Lions District 33-Y is partnering with the Northern Berkshire Solid Waste Management District to place eyeglasses recycling boxes at all 14 member transfer stations!

Starting this month, you can drop off your old prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses at your local transfer station. Boxes will be placed in transfer stations in Adams, Cheshire, Dalton, Florida, Hancock, Hinsdale, Peru, Savoy, Williamstown, and Windsor, with additional collection at town halls in Clarksburg, Lanesborough, Monroe, and New Ashford.

Your donated glasses will be cleaned, sorted, and redistributed to people in need around the world through the Lions' long-running eyeglasses recycling program. It's one of the simplest ways to make a real difference, and it costs nothing to participate.

So next time you're cleaning out a drawer, bring those old glasses along on your transfer station run! 🌍✨

👓 Thank you to Wild Oats Market for serving as our newest used eyeglasses collection location in Williamstown at 320 Main St.

If you missed it, the North Adams Lions collect used eyeglasses at locations throughout Williamstown and North Adams. Your gently used glasses will be refurbished and given to people in need around the world.
