Good morning, NAEFers! We all know how important that first cup of coffee is to help us kickstart the day. Our friends at East Norriton Middle School understand, too! That's why we're launching the The Eagle Energizer Coffee Club! The EECC is designed to build community within East Norriton MS by giving students a meaningful leadership opportunities while creating a positive, welcoming start to the school day for staff on Friday mornings.

Led by Ms. DiPlacido, EECC aims to give students a hands-on learning opportunity in a real-world work environment. The goal is to build community and belonging among ENMS students and staff by having an in-house, student-run "coffee shop" to visit on Friday mornings. Students will gain business experience by creating and managing weekly coffee order forms, organizing and preparing coffee orders, practicing customer service during Friday pickup, managing basic budgeting and tracking funds, and designing promotional materials (posters/forms).

But we need your help in securing some startup supplies to get our ENMS coffee shop up and running! Please visit Ms. DiPlacido’s Donors Choose wish list below and become part of the ENERGY we need to make this program and the upcoming school year a major success! ☕🦅⚡😃

🔈🔈🔈 Calling all Blockson Middle School 5th and 6th graders! NAEF is partnering with our friends at to offer a 5-week introduction to fencing. Fencing Club will meet every Friday from 3:30-5:30pm in the BMS gym from October 2 - November 6 (no meeting on 10/9). We only have 12 spots available, so make sure to sign up ASAP! What a great start to the day! We welcomed back all of our Norristown Area School District teachers and staff AND celebrated the Teachers of the Year from the 25-26 school year! Congratulations to our 12 building winners and our District winner, Mrs. Beckie Rotondo!

NAEF is happy to support NASD's Teacher of the Year Program. As part of our partnership with the District, NAEF provides each of the 12 building winners with a $250 award that they can use to enhance their classrooms!

We are so thankful for our amazing teachers! Can't wait for the 26-27 nominations! 🤩
