Niskayuna Senior Center The Niskayuna Senior Center is open to all area seniors. Program days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm.

Trips and special events are offered during the other days of the week.

We wanted to express our thanks for the great opportunity to partner on grant funded arts and community programming here at the Niskayuna Senior Center. Albany Barn has access to artists that are performers, instructors, entertainers and makers. They have brought us art classes and entertainment thanks to the Niskayuna Community Foundation. We couldn't say no when they asked us to help with painting glasses for their annual anti-gala event that is coming up in October. https://albanybarn.org/fusion/

The Senior Center book group read, "Theo of Golden" by Allen Levi. It was a touching story of an elderly man who appreciated art and developed friendships and connections with others by sharing a portrait of them. Theo encouraged each person to see themselves in a new light! This book inspired one of our seniors, an artist, to express his talents by sketching our seniors, as was done in the novel.
