💙 A BIG THANK YOU to Self-Help Credit Union! 💙

When they had a day away from their offices, this team from Self-Help Credit Union chose to spend it giving back to our community at The Corner Table’s Community Kitchen! 🙌

They jumped right in to help prepare the meal and serve lunch to our guests, sharing their time, kindness, and compassion with those we serve. ❤️

We are so grateful they chose to spend their day making a difference! Thank you, Self-Help Credit Union, for showing up, lending a hand, and reminding us what community is all about! 🥰👏

What an incredible day at The Corner Table’s Community Kitchen! A HUGE thank-you to the Food Lion managers who showed up ready to work, serve, and make a difference in our community! 🙌

These amazing volunteers didn’t just lend a hand, they made a BIG impact! 💪

🥪 They made 150 sandwiches to include in the Friday bags they assembled for our guests to take with them for the week-end.

🍽️ They prepared and served a delicious hot lunch of sloppy joes, fries, slaw, and homemade brownies to over 100 guests who came through our doors today!

❄️They prepared over 100 frozen meals to help restock our freezer and ensure more meals are ready for those who need them.

From filling Friday bags to stocking our freezer and serving our guests with kindness, the Food Lion managers truly went above and beyond! Their hard work and generosity help us continue meeting the needs of our community in so many ways.

Thank you, Food Lion, for bringing the teamwork, the heart, and the helping hands! We are so grateful for partners who put their words into action and help us make a difference, one meal at a time! ❤️

💙 Volunteers Make It Possible! 💙

Another incredible week for The Corner Table BackPack Program! We are so grateful for the many volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to help fight childhood hunger in Catawba County. 🥫❤️

This month, we were excited to welcome some new volunteer groups to our warehouse! A big thank you to Tree of Life Church and Catawba Valley Community College’s Photography Class for joining us and helping make a difference. We hope to see you again soon!

We are also incredibly thankful for our faithful, returning volunteers who continue to show up and support our mission week after week:
✨ 7th Day Adventist
✨ LongView Lions Club
✨ St. Stephen’s Lions Club
✨ Catawba Valley Rotary
✨ Faith in Action

And a very special THANK YOU to our delivery drivers! 🚚💙 While our volunteers fill and prepare the bags, our drivers make sure those bags get where they are needed most.

This week, together, we distributed an incredible 1,696 food bags to children across Catawba County! 🎒🥫

Every bag represents more than food—it represents hope, care, and the reminder to a child that their community cares about them.

We couldn't do this without each and every one of you. Thank you for helping us fight childhood hunger, one bag at a time! 💙
