A heartfelt thank you to the Women in Mission at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church for collecting 52 pounds of food for The Corner Table’s BackPack Program! 🥫❤️

The BackPack Program was their mission, and their continued dedication and support are making a meaningful difference in the lives of children facing food insecurity across our three school systems.

Because of caring groups like the Women in Mission, children can have nutritious food to take home when they need it most. We are so grateful for your generosity, compassion, and ongoing commitment to helping fight childhood hunger in our community.

A HUGE shoutout to these men from Catawba Correctional Facility for bringing the energy and putting in some serious work at The Corner Table’s Community Kitchen today! 👏💙

These volunteers jumped right in and helped us accomplish SO much! 🙌

🥘 180+ frozen meals packed and ready for our freezer!
🥪 150 Friday Bags prepared for our guests!
🍽️ Today’s lunch prepped and served our guests!

That’s a LOT of meals, a LOT of teamwork, and an even BIGGER impact! 💪❤️

We are incredibly grateful for their time, hard work, and willingness to serve. Every meal prepared, bag packed, and helping hand makes a difference in our community.

🎒 BackPack Program Back-to-School Week! ❤️

What an incredible way to kick off a new school year! This week, 1,520 BackPack Program bags were delivered to schools throughout Catawba County, helping ensure that children facing food insecurity have nutritious food to take home for the weekend.

Behind every one of those 1,520 bags is a community of caring people who make this program possible. Every week throughout the school year, our amazing volunteers pick up BackPack bags and deliver them to the 45 schools served by The Corner Table’s BackPack Program. 🚐🎒

To each volunteer who gives their time, loads their vehicle, makes the drive, and helps get these bags into the hands of children who need them — thank you! Your commitment makes a direct difference in the lives of local children and families.

And to everyone who supports the BackPack Program through donations, volunteering, and spreading the word: thank you for helping us fight childhood hunger right here in Catawba County.

Together, we’re making sure more children can head into the weekend with full backpacks and full hearts. ❤️🎒

We’re so grateful to the members of the Hickory Elks Lodge for spending time at our Backpack Program warehouse yesterday! Your volunteers jumped right in, packing bags and restocking shelves to help keep our program running smoothly and ready to serve local children in need. 🎒❤️

And before they headed out, they went above and beyond by making a generous contribution to the Backpack Program!
