Family Builders of Catawba Valley is a great resource for foster families in our area.

So you've heard the need. You've decided to get licensed and you're ready to go. What next?

First is the info meeting. After that, an interview, home study, and classes while you are preparing your home. There's a lot of information we need about you, and it's also a time to learn more about us, and the social workers that will be helping you navigate the journey.

Family Builders will work to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed, but it's up to you to run the marathon.

🔹 Corinth in Hickory
🔹 Mission Church in Morgaton

What are these groups about?
The adoption and foster journey can be challenging–you don’t have to go through it alone. Replanted groups meet on a monthly basis to bring authentic community, healing, and support to foster and adoptive families.
