Many children in our area are gearing up to get back into the school routine. For children in foster care, we're praying an extra layer of protection over them. Please join us in praying:

🎒 that they can develop healthy friendships
🎒 that their teachers understand their unique background
🎒 that they will be surrounded by foster parents, teachers, and counselors who can advocate for their needs
🎒 that they will have fun and enjoy learning

We know the journey you’re on is not always easy, but your love, patience, and unwavering care are changing lives every single day. You are the steady in someone’s storm. The safe place. The second chance.

If you’re in need, we are here to support you. Because of the generous support of our community, we have resources available — including beds, diapers, clothing, and baby shower basket supplies. Whether you're preparing for a new placement or restocking essentials, please know you're not alone in this.

Did you know you can help us in this simple way?

As you're cleaning out closets and purging your home, take your things to Resource Warehouse and tell them it's for Fostering Hope Catawba.

When you do this, we receive a credit and this allows us to provide for children and families when needs come up.

Join us on August 30, 2026, for a day dedicated to celebrating children and teens in foster care. The National Foster Care Birthday Celebration provides a fun, safe, and memorable experience for youth ages 5–17, featuring outdoor games, water activities, a treasure hunt, arts and crafts, pizza, candy bingo, nature exploration, and a special birthday celebration.

The $25 registration fee is for the attending parent, guardian, or caregiver only. Foster children and youth attend at no cost—the Margie Barilla Foundation covers all youth participation expenses.
