Today, we celebrate two incredible educators whose dedication, service, and impact have left a lasting legacy at Hobbton High School.
Congratulations to Carla Sutton, Media Specialist, on her retirement after 30 years of service to Sampson County Schools, including 21 years as the heart of Hobbton High School. Ms. Sutton’s passion for Hobbton is one of a kind. Her dedication and support for both students and staff has touched countless lives. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment will be greatly missed.
Congratulations also to Patty Hudson on her retirement after 31 years of service at Hobbton High School and Sampson County Schools. As a CTE Business teacher, Mrs. Hudson has prepared generations of students for success beyond the classroom, inspiring them with her knowledge, professionalism, and dedication. Her influence extends far beyond the lessons she taught.
Both of these remarkable women have helped shape the culture and success of Hobbton High School through their years of service, leadership, and care for students. Their contributions cannot be measured simply in years, but in the countless lives they have impacted along the way.
Thank you, Carla and Patty, for your years of dedication, your commitment to excellence, and the difference you have made in our school community. We wish you both a retirement filled with happiness, good health, new adventures, and all the joy you so richly deserve.
