Literacy for Life and Operation Breaking Through, Inc. invite caring community members to a practical Volunteer Training designed to prepare volunteers to support adults as they strengthen the foundational skills needed for success in life and work. Join Literacy for Life staff on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at 2700 Jefferson Avenue, Unit A, Newport News. Refreshments will be provided. No teaching experience or second language is required; bring patience, flexibility, a positive outlook, and a desire to learn.
