Your Newport Beach Firefighters stand in support of our colleagues at the Newport Beach Police Association and encourage patience as city leadership and stakeholders obtain data to make critical decisions regarding public safety and emergency response times.

The Newport Beach Firefighters Association feels uniquely positioned to provide an informed perspective on this process as we continue to collaborate with city and county leadership to thoughtfully plan for the future needs of the fire department, including the eventual relocation of Fire Station Three.

We know that relocation requires careful planning, county coordination, and investment. We understand how essential it is that this process is deliberate and data based. It is important for the public to understand that station locations, for both firefighters or law enforcement, directly impact public safety, response capabilities, and the well-being of the community.

Before, during, and after the Memorial Day weekend, off-duty firefighters and lifeguards volunteered their time to cook for over 100 volunteers and members of the 1/1 Marines as they set up and broke down the 1776 American Flags displayed at Castaways Park. It’s a small way that we can give back to those that have served our country.
Our honor guard also did a fantastic job at the main event on Memorial Day at Castaways.
