The O'Connell Center fell silent. Seconds left. A 52-52 tie. Then Nina Richards sank two clutch free throws, and Coach Kelly Rae Finley did something Wilmer Nichols had never seen before. She cried. 🏀

For Wilmer, a longtime UF professor and devoted Gator fan, meeting Kelly Rae transformed the way he experienced women's basketball. What began with a chance encounter in the Town of Tioga grew into a meaningful friendship. 💛

What started as a simple idea from neighbors Catherine West and Arlene Smillov of The Independence Project turned into one of the most memorable community events of the year. PorchFest brought live music, friendly faces, and plenty of reasons to linger a little longer on the front porch. 🌟

Families strolled from home to home, local musicians filled the streets with music, and neighbors came together to celebrate the spirit of the Town of Tioga. It was more than a music festival. It was a reminder of what makes this community so special. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who hosted, performed, volunteered, sponsored, and attended. We can't wait for next year! 🎉
