Focusing on Families, Inc. is a Christian 501(c) 3 whose mission is to strengthen communities by educating, supporting, and empowering families.

Our motto is Sowing Seeds Cultivating Lives We offer youth mentoring, athletic mentoring programs, and workshops/groups for parents. In addition, we support families in need with clothing & toiletries, Adopt a Family programs and toy drives for Christmas, and other resources as needed.

Focusing on Families, Inc. is preparing for The Christmas Experience 2026, and this year, our goal is to help make Christmas special for 300 children right here in New Castle County, Delaware!

Today, we're inviting YOU to take the ONE-TOY CHALLENGE! 🎁

Here's how you can help:
🎁 Donate ONE new, unwrapped toy for a child.�🧦 Add a few stocking stuffers to help fill a child's Christmas stocking.�💵 Make a financial donation to help us purchase the gifts and supplies still needed.�📣 Share this post with a friend, family member, church, or local business that might want to join us!

You don't have to give a lot to make a difference. Imagine what could happen if 300 people each donated just one toy! Together, we could make a tremendous impact. ❤️

Our goal is about more than gifts. It's about creating a special experience where parents can choose Christmas gifts for their own children and feel the joy of being the hero of their child's Christmas story.

The countdown to Christmas has begun, and Focusing On Families, Inc. 😘😘is officially launching our campaign for The Christmas Experience 2026!.

On Saturday, December 19, we're preparing to serve 300 children, from newborn through age 17, by creating a special Christmas experience for their parents/guardians.

The Christmas Experience gives parents the opportunity to select gifts for their own children in a festive, welcoming environment. It's about more than presents—it's about helping parents experience the joy of being the hero of their child's Christmas story. ❤️

But we can't do it alone! Here's where YOU can help:

🎁 NEW, UNWRAPPED TOYS & GIFTS

🧦 STOCKING STUFFERS FOR 300 CHILDREN

🎄❤️ WE NEED A VOLUNTEER WHO LOVES MAKING A DIFFERENCE!❤️🎄

Focusing On Families, Inc. is looking for an Adopt-a-Family Coordinator for The Christmas Experience! 🎁

This volunteer will help connect families in our community with sponsors who want to make Christmas special for them.

You’ll help with:
🎅🏽Recruiting sponsors
🎁Matching families with sponsors
📋 Organizing family & gift information
📱 Communicating with sponsors
❤️ Following up on family needs
🎄 Helping coordinate gift collection & distribution

🌟 WHO CAN DO THIS?

High school students, college students, and adults are ALL welcome!

This is a great opportunity for:
🎓 Students needing community service/volunteer hours
🎓 College students seeking service experience
❤️ Adults who want to give back
🤝 Anyone who is organized, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable communicating with others

No nonprofit experience is required. We’re looking for someone with a heart to serve and the willingness to help make Christmas special for local families.

⏰ About 3–5 hours/week during the planning season, with more involvement as Christmas approaches.
