Newark Youth Center Open on Thursdays from 2:30pm to 5:00pm

Located at Calvary Church
835 Peirson Ave, Newark Our youth centers are for ALL middle and high school youth.

Newark Youth Center is a safe place for middle and high school students to go during the high-risk after school hours. Our youth centers offer opportunities for recreation, homework help, crafts, socialization, Bible study, group games, events and interaction with caring volunteers.

Partnership with churches is key to the success of Scarlet Thread Ministries. One of the churches we partner with is Faith Fellowship in Marion, New York.

Pastor Jake Buss, of Faith Fellowship, states, "As a church committed to reflecting the light of Christ to our community, partnering with Scarlet Thread Ministries has been an impactful part of that. It has created the opportunity for us to impact the next generation of our unchurched neighbors who might otherwise never come to a worship service. But praise God, we are seeing students from our Youth Center taking steps like reading Bibles we've given them, attending our worship services, and one student publicly declared their faith in Christ through baptism. All because of God's work through Scarlet Threads Ministries in our town."

We are so thankful for our faithful partners in ministry and pray that God continues to add more partners to reach the youth of our county!
