Statistics tell us that 63% of the adult population has been in the hospitality industry. Have you ever worked in a restaurant? Even if you haven't, you can likely appreciate the drama of dealing with surly customers and haunted walk-ins. Tonight at 7 we're screening a hilarious horror movie that centers on the trials and tribulations of waiting tables, starring the internet's most famous server, The Bitchy Waiter. Join us in our subterranean cinema to see it AND to meet the man himself. If you haven't ever watched any of his video posts, they are a scream! And a scary story about waitstaffs is just the FREE ticket in this spooky season! Upstairs, Gene serves you the delicious craft cocktails in our Starlight Lounge, 5 till midnight. Join us!

Aprés le deluge, it's sunshine and blue skies! And tonight we'll have the Bills vs the Rams upstairs and the weekly Antihoot downstairs, with Ivan serving up the frosty cold b**rs and delicious craft cocktails. We have a selection of NA b**rs for those of you who are cutting back or only drinking on the weekends. And though we have an extensive menu, we still serve all the old stand-bys, so don't be shy about ordering a well vodka soda-splash-of-cran. And if you've got some input, please let us know! We're still a work in progress and want our little Starlight Lounge to feel like your living room. Join us!

We had another wild one in our gritty little subterranean nightspot, with Florida Mans celebrating their record release with friends and lovers, while upstairs Rachel was whipping up the craft cocktails for a sizable crowd of fashionistas. Today? Well...we aren't gonna try to oversell a rainy Sunday, but we WILL tell you that Mr. Mo B Dick is downstairs hosting the Drag King Revolution Filmmakers Panel, with never before seen footage from the 90s Drag King Club Casanova. Upstairs, Ivan is working his first shift and he'll be putting on the football games to lure any intrepid shoppers in off the sidewalk. Might that, perhaps, include you? Duck in from the rain and sip a sparkling Mimosa. If you're suffering from last night's excesses, how about a spicy Bloody Mary, with all its curative powers? Sounds like a perfect way to while away a Sunday! Vanessa takes over at 6 for the evening hours and a few more football games. Wow! We set a record last night, with both rooms bustling! Word is out about our chill, starry little lounge and retro wreck room with the AAAAHHHHMAZING sound! You're invited to come in and check it all out! Today we've got Matt opening up at noon, ready to serve you a sparkling Mimosa or a spicy Bloody to start your weekend off right. Rachel takes over at 7 for the evening hours and the curious nightcrawlers who've been shyly showing up, wondering what's happening in the space. Kristen will be popping the tall boys for the big Saturday rock show downstairs, starring Florida Mans, celebrating their record release, supported by Bobcat, Bang Bang Band Girl, and Voodini. Band of Others opens at 8, Soulcake is at 9, and the fast food frenzy of Slutburger starts at 10. These people really know how to party! And it's FREE! We'll be opening our accordion doors onto the sidewalk today at 5, welcoming you into our sparkling Starlight Lounge., where Grace is behind the bar, whipping up the delicious craft cocktails for you. And we're catching you up on a few more pix of recent events: Delphine's calendar release party, Bikini Carwash, and Coachez. Last night's Antihoot was another raging success, with Joe's wonderfully analog sign-up sheet reflecting a vast array of talent. If you've been jamming at home by yourself, come out into the lights! They're downstairs every Monday night! Tonight we have an event booked upstairs! Our friend Delphine has her 2027 calendar, with her famous illustrations of East Village businesses, ready for you to purchase. Come pick one up and peruse her collection of other print and original artworks, as well as Les Aventures d'Éclair, yes, the adventures of her cat, Eclair! Rachel will be behind the bar, 5 till midnight, making sure everyone has the delicious elixir of their dreams! Join us!

The last four nights have been a cavalcade of talent in our subterranean performance space and the crowds have been super appreciative. Tonight we welcome back our weekly Antihoot, NYC's longest running open mic, hosted by Joe Bendik. Consider this your open call to grab your guitar or pick up your piccolo and participate! Doors are at 6, sign-ups begin at 7, and the show starts at 7:30. We've seen some serious superstars so far. Who will be next? Gene is behind the bar upstairs in our Starlight Lounge, ready to serve you a delicious craft cocktail or a crisp Talea IPA, from 5 till midnight. Join us!

Wow! Last night was like time traveling back to the 90s, with dozens of sexy humans queuing up to see the live Drag King performances. Plus, between acts, the sidewalk was full of smokers! SOOO retro! (And thank goodness our upstairs neighbor was downstairs watching the show!) Antonio had his hands full serving the craft cocktails while Kristen was popping the tabs on the cheap b**r in the basement. Now for Sunday, which starts smooth and slow with Rachel behind the bar, noon till 6, ready to serve you a sparkling Mimosa, spicy Bloody Mary, or something custom, if that's appealing. We've got a delicious collection of syrups and shrubs to concoct a special elixir designed especially for you! Jeannie comes in at 6 to work the downstairs bar for B Scene Sundays, our free weekly music series. Tonight we welcome E.W. Harris, who delivers futuristic, eclectic folktronica, while Apollo Flowerchild crafts soulful, intricately layered indie-folk. Virginia Marcs rounds out the triple bill, commanding the stage with raw, emotionally exhilarating goth-rock and indie-pop storytelling. Tip your barmaid and the musicians with zeal.
