Opening night of the 14th Annual Israel Film Center Festival was a celebration of powerful storytelling, meaningful conversations, and community. We’re proud to support Israeli and Jewish filmmakers whose work sparks connection, reflection, and dialogue through the art of film. 🎬✨ Thank you to Love, Statistically Speaking director Amichai Greenberg and producer Aviv Ben Shlush as well as Shtisel actor and friend of the festival Michael Mark Aloni for traveling all the way to NYC for the New York premiere of this incredible film.

Ahead of the June primaries, join us tomorrow at for an essential candidate forum focusing on the issues most directly impacting Jewish New Yorkers and our neighborhood.

We’ll hear back-to-back from the contenders for NY12, followed by NY State Assembly District 69 candidates Stephanie Ruskay and Eli Northrup. The evening will be moderated by New York Times opinion columnist Michelle Goldberg.

BTS of the making of our next gallery exhibit - A Place to Be Yourself: A Celebration of Authenticity

In celebration of 20 years of inclusive programming at the JCC, our next lobby gallery exhibit features self-portraits created by members of The Jack and Shirley Silver Center for Diverse Abilities.

With control of the camera and image selection process, each participant chose how they wished to be seen, resulting in a powerful collection that celebrates identity, belonging, and self-expression.
