Florida Pointer Rescue is an all-volunteer no kill dog rescue based in New Smyrna Beach FL. Adopters can attend our Saturday adoption event or qualified applicants can be scheduled to meet dogs at their foster homes. Every day we rescue dogs from overcrowded kill shelters, unwanted litters, and from owners no longer able to care for them. We rescue dogs, pups, seniors and pregnant dogs from Florid

a and bordering states and provide shelter, food, medical care, transportation, and affection to homeless dogs of all breeds and the dogs are fostered in private homes till adopted. Our hands-on rescue efforts secure permanent loving homes for hundreds of dogs and puppies each year. We are dedicated to rescuing, nurturing and adopting dogs - both big and small into loving homes. Florida Pointer Rescue joins in the fight to reduce the vast problem of pet overpopulation by requiring every adopted dog and pup are spayed or neutered. All dogs brought into the rescue are examined by a licensed veterinarian and are given complete vetting care including age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and placed on flea and heart worm preventive, spayed or neutered, and adults are heart wormed tested. Florida Pointer Rescue is a registered nonprofit with the state of Florida and operates solely on the generosity of donations, and adoptions fees help support what we do; to save and improve dogs lives. Our mission is to provide the gift of life to as many dogs as compassionately possible, to provide hospice and senior sanctuary as necessary and to enrich the lives of those who adopt them. Sweet Pearl is your typical English Pointer. She loves all people and all other dogs. She was a hunting dog and lived outside on concrete her whole life and now has adjusted to being an inside dog. She is crate, trained, and almost housebroken. She is spayed, heartworm negative and current on vaccines. She is looking for a Foster or an Adopter that is active and will give her lots of love.. She is a young adult around two or three years old.

Available for adoption with an approved application. We are not having an event this weekend, so the only way to meet her is by appointment.

We have 3 cute owner surrender small dogs coming to adoptions tomorrow Saturday 10 am Pet Supermarket 1938 State Rd 44 New Smyrna Beach
first is Katie 8 year old Pomeranian super cute , sweet, great with other dogs.. typical pom likes to bark.. 2 nd is Remi 5 year old Yorkie Dachsund mix, great with other dogs, older children and adults , and last but not least Finn 7-8 year old Yorkie Poo.. he just got shaved down ..would make a great companion pet.. All 3 spayed neutered and current on vaccines .
