Anglers, Cast is hosting a private event on Sept 26th for a group of approximately 69 veterans and their family members on Big Marine Lake located at the Veterans Camp in MN,

If you would like to volunteer to be a boat captain, please let us know and we will add you to a private group. If you offer to volunteer, please don’t cancel because it really hurts us on the day of the event for boat space.

The water temps have been really warm and the winds have picked up today (30 mph). We have been trying our best to get folks on some large salmon but sometimes that’s not Gods plan. Regardless, we are having a great time in Alma making memories!

Check out this tackle shop we found. This place is packed(literally) with anything and everything for tackle.

My son, Dade joined me for the long drive east. He got his first salmon. Now if I can teach him how to make sushi to save dad a little 💴 💰 😂

Time to kick back and listen to a little guitar 🎸

We finally got a little rain and were able to give back to our community by mowing some lawns, for free thanks to our friends at On Time Service Pros!

Mike with Cast WI took out a retired LEO. Mike landed his first Muskie. (Jealous of that). I have been busy with projects at home so didn’t get a full report and I’ve been behind on posting (I apologize).

Today, we went out armed with a Dock Demon and some Terry Laska custom baits. They landed us some nice bluegills.

We have a few events planned that will be announced soon. Thank you all for the love and support

It’s been a while since we have mowed some yards because of the excessive heat and lack of rain. Today we were able to mow a few yards for members of our community thanks to the generous donation from our friends at On Time Service Pros

On Time Service Pros is the sponsor of the 2026, Cast in the Community initiative where we provide free lawn care and snow removal for members of our community that need an extra hand. We were also able to donate a few backpacks and school supplies for some people experiencing financial hardship.

Join us in wish our Co-Founder and COO, Lindsay, a very special happy birthday. Lindsay does so much work behind the scenes and is even on the final leg of her Doctorate (Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Applied Leadership -emphasis on Non-Profit Leadership) to better the organization.

Cast wouldn’t be where it is without her and we thank her for her service to Cast and to our country. Yes, she is a Veteran, too! 🇺🇸
