As a former engineering professor, I have spent a lot of time thinking about how professors can engage their students in the age of A.I. The professors must invert the problem and challenge students in ways that A.I. can't address. More Oral engagement is definitely an important option.

From .com College instructors across the U.S. are noticing troubling new trends as generative artificial intelligence becomes more sophisticated. Take-home essays and other written assignments are coming back perfect. But when students are asked to explain their work, they can’t. The long-term impact of AI use on critical thinking remains to be seen, but educators worry students increasingly see the hard work of thinking as optional.

From The Next Web: Humanoid Robot worker! 90% success rate. 8-hour shift. No humans needed.

Siemens just ran a humanoid robot inside a real factory in Germany.

It moved boxes for 8 hours straight, 60 every hour.

NVIDIA built the AI brain. A UK startup built the body.

This is the kind of job millions of people do every day.

The robot was trained in 7 months, not 2 years.

To the Moon and back!! For the first time in over 50 years, Artemis II sent humans around the Moon, pushing farther from Earth than ever before, and brought them safely home.

The crew’s 10-day lunar journey tested systems, captured data and helped build the foundation to carry us back to the Moon’s surface and beyond. From launch on NASA’s Space Launch System to splashdown and recovery, this is what it looks like when we challenge ourselves to go farther β€” together.

STEM Baton Rouge welcomes home, Reid, Victor, Christina and Jeremy.

Mission complete.
