Data center concerns are shaping midterm races with voters raising concerns about the impact on local communities. People have legitimate questions about how these projects could affect their communities.
Last summer, Josh Shapiro was the biggest data center cheerleader in the nation," Garrity said. She added that he "lit the fuse on the chaos we are seeing in community after community."
In May, a grassroots group stood outside the room for 45 minutes, holding a huge placard that invited Shapiro to a Data Center Town Hall, after reaching out in various other ways. They were shunned by the administration. Stacy Garrity for Pennsylvania and Jason Richey have listened to citizens across the Commonwealth and fast tracking data centers is NOT 🚫 part of her plan which Josh Shapiro has already done. He's not only verbally promoted them but has taken ACTION to hurt local communities.
It was during a visit to a major data center site in Luzerne County in late 2024 that Shapiro created the fast track process, which he described as a "game changer" in getting big projects moving along. Now that PA Treasurer Stacy Garrity has formulated her plan Josh Shapiro has done a complete 360. Not because he listened to voters like Stacy did but because he was cornered and had no choice He didn't just promote data centers he fast tracked them. Now communities are suffering.

Besides taking away parental rights in the newly proposed addendum to the health code Governor Josh Shapiro’s administration is attempting to remove terms such as “pregnant woman” and “mother” from the state’s health code.
“Motherhood is not a label—it is a profound part of a woman’s life and identity. Replacing the word ‘mother’ doesn’t make women more included; it risks making them invisible.” Motherhood shouldn't be something erased apologized for. Protect women and mothers vote Stacy Garrity for Pennsylvania ♥️!

We’re sorry to say we lost a great woman and one of the most dedicated people who have ever served this Party. Lynette was a former chair, delegate, State committeewoman, LCTA Board member, and countless other titles. Lynette will be missed dearly. 🕊️❤️
