“Meet Mya — a 5th grade CLU student with a passion for science and protecting our environment. Inspired by Mystic Aquarium’s ocean conservation work, Mya decided to organize a beach cleanup of her own. She came up with the idea, sourced the supplies, promoted the event, and was there the whole time leading the cleanup effort.

Couldn’t be prouder of this young man.

Noah Silva — 7th grader, member of our basketball family — just created his own memoir, The Lesson of Basketball and Faith. Nobody told him to write it. He saw his story, sat down, and made it happen.

Surgery couldn’t stop him. Six months off the court couldn’t stop him. He came back to the game stronger, and now he’s got a book to show for the whole journey.

This is exactly why we do what we do at Community Level Up — building better communities, one leader at a time. Noah is leading already.

Community Trailblazer Showcase — a youth business plan competition where YOU design a service or product that creates change right in your own community.

This past weekend we celebrated all of our Community Trailblazers! They have been working hard on their business plans designed to help make our community and the world a better place.

Noah came up with the idea to help elderly citizens in his community wash their windows. After noticing neighbors struggling with the task, he created this service to lend a hand and make their lives a little easier. This idea came from him noticing people in his community struggling, and he had an idea that could combat their struggle so he created this service. I will have more information soon about ways you can support Noah and all of our Community Trailblazers!

We will be highlighting all of our Trailblazers over the next few days!
