Community Level Up Inc P.L.A.N. Leadership Guide is now available for download. This is the 1st of a series of guides we plan to release to help young leaders in our community and around the world. With all guides you can download for free or choose the amount of money you wanna donate to support the mission. We do it this way so it is accessible to anyone out there who may need the information.

P.L.A.N.
— Producing Leaders Around Nations — is a hands-on leadership guide created by Community Level Up Inc. for teens ages 11–17. This guide was born out of over 15 years of real mentorship work in urban communities, built by people who know your world and believe in your potential. It is not a textbook. It is not a lecture. It is a blueprint — your blueprint — for building a life you are proud of.

Guide Objectives:
1.) Help you discover and articulate your self-worth — so you show up with confidence in every room you enter.
2.) Teach you how to build a professional resume that showcases your real skills and life experience — starting now, not later.
3.) Walk you through the 7 elements of a real business plan so you can turn your ideas into income and community impact.
4.) Give you a working foundation of financial literacy — banking, budgeting, credit, and investing — so money works for you, not against you.

“Built in the community, for the community. P.L.A.N. is the leadership guide that teaches young leaders self-worth, entrepreneurship, and financial freedom — one real step at a time.”

Building better communities, one leader at a time.

Every big thing starts small. 🌱

Part 2 of "Purpose, Plan, Process" is P.L.A.N. (Producing Leaders Around Nations), where purpose turns into action. Here's what our students are building:

📄 Self-Worth & Resume: Students recognize their value, put their accomplishments on paper, and learn to say out loud who they are and what they bring.

💡 Your Business Plan: Students take a skill they already have, find a real problem in their community, and build a 7-part plan to solve it, from target customer and pricing to marketing and break-even math. Then they set a launch date for a first small version, even if it's just for 5 people. Done is better than perfect.

💰 Financial Literacy: Banking basics, the 50/30/20 budget, credit, and why starting to invest young is a superpower.

You don't need a big budget or a perfect idea to start. You need a reason that's bigger than you. Start small, solve a real problem, and keep showing up. That's how it grows.

🎥 Watch the video to hear why the right reason matters most.

Part 1 of "Purpose, Plan, Process" is complete! 🎯

Our students spent the first phase, Purpose, discovering who they are and what they're here to do. Now we've moved into Part 2, Plan, starting with two key skills: building a resume and confidently telling their own story.

Each student reflected on their strengths and accomplishments, then stood up and shared them with the class.

Next week, we dive into business creation. Every student will take their skill set, identify a real problem in their community, and figure out how their skills can help solve it.

🎥 Watch the video to hear from our students in their own words!

Join Mya's Beach Cleanup: Help Keep New London Clean!

Mya is a 6th grader on a mission to fight pollution in her community. Her idea took root at The Mystic Aquarium, where education and hands-on experiences opened her eyes to how trash affects our waters and wildlife. Through the Community Trailblazer Showcase, she turned that idea into her own organization, built around a mission to rid our neighborhoods and shorelines of trash.

Mya has been a CLU member for over three years. At Community Level Up, we create programs that give students the tools, guidance, and platform to turn their ideas into real impact. Mya is proof of what happens when young people are given the chance to lead.

This is her second beach cleanup of 2026, and she's inviting everyone to pitch in.
