Join us for a laid-back evening of great music this Friday at 7:00 PM with Telestela!

Telestela is a Minnesota-based art rock band with an ambient vibe who create layered songs and textured grooves.

They will be performing here at LTA this Friday! Tickets are available at the door and are PWYW (pay what you wish) with a suggested price starting at $5.00.

The doors open at 6:45 PM - the Auditorium Bar will be serving up your favorite handcrafted cocktails and mocktails and N/A beverages all evening!

We'll be enjoying coffee drinks and watching films featuring Fredric March curated by New London Roaming Cinema! 🎬

Here are the films lined up for this weekend:

11:00 AM | Laughter (1930) Stars Nancy Carroll, Fredric March Pre-code rom-com, a woman is dissatisfied with a life of luxury; will she reconcile with the choices she’s made? March considered this one of his favorite films.

12:20 PM | Death Takes a Holiday (1934) Fredric March, Evelyn Venable. Death becomes human for 3 days to find out why he’s feared. Will he seek his own happiness or go back to his own life?

1:40 PM | "Nothing Sacred” (1937, William A Wellman) Stars: Carole Lombard, Fredric March. Lombard became queen of the sophisticated comedies in 1937. This rom-com satire skewers personal tragedies in the media. Carole portrays Hazel Flagg, a small town girl who feigns radium poisoning in order to see the big apple.

2:55 PM | True to the Navy (1930) Stars Clara Bow & Fredric March. A store clerk has an eye for dating sailors. Original reviews call this a summer-weather film.

The last installment of our Mindful Monday Summer Series is coming up this Monday, August 31st from 5:00-8:00 PM here at LTA!

This is a great chance to pause, breathe, and reset before fall and the new school season starts!

This session provides time to center yourself, journal and set some intentions, visit with others, and enjoy some tea and light snacks. It also includes a healing sound bath with 3D Sound and meditation exercises with Libbie Anderson.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, comfort items, journal, etc.

The cost for this session is $30.00 and can be paid at the door, but we ask participants to register online at Zeffy to help the organizers prepare.

Karaoke Party is always a great time and this month's Featured Artist is local artist & musician Maria Novak!

Stop in and belt out your favorite tunes! DJ Tozer will be in the house spinning records all evening and The Auditorium bar will be serving up delicious handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and a variety of N/A beverages all night.

Entry for this event is PWYW (pay what you wish) with a suggested donation of $5.00.

11:00 AM | Feminist and the Fuzz stars Barbara Eden and David Hartman Roommates who clash, but will they fall in love?

12:15 PM | The Woman Hunter (1972) Barbara Eden, Robert Vaugh. A woman becomes entangled with a jewel thief.

1:25 PM | Secret Life of Kathy McCormick (1988) A retelling of Cinderella if it was a middle-aged woman in the 1980s greed culture.

3:00 PM | Let’s Switch! (1975) stars Barbara Eden Divorced couples in the swinging 1970s.

You can drop your beloved, but unwanted kids clothing off at LTA starting today! 👕👖

Feel free to bring any kids clothing here to LTA between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM today-Friday!

The free Kids Clothing Swap is taking place this Saturday, August 22nd from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Grab some new-to-you clothes for your kiddos while cleaning out anything they no longer need!

All proceeds from donations for this event will help support accessibility to youth arts programming here at LTA!
