As Chief of Police, it was an honor to represent the West Earl Township Police Department at the Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet on April 10th, where we recognized the newest Eagle Scouts of Troop 48. These young men have demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to their community—values that reflect the very best of what Scouting stands for.

I was proud to present each of them with a Certificate of Recognition and a West Earl Police Challenge Coin in appreciation of their hard work and achievement.

Congratulations to all of the new Eagle Scouts—your accomplishments are truly commendable, and we wish you continued success in all your future endeavors!

🎉 Happy Founder’s Day, Troop 48! 🎉
Today we proudly celebrate 109 years of Scouting tradition in New Holland, Pennsylvania!

🚩 Troop 48 was established on March 5, 1917, and for more than a century our troop has been dedicated to developing young leaders through adventure, service, and the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
From campfires and campouts to service projects and Eagle Scout achievements, generations of Scouts have grown into leaders while wearing the Troop 48 patch. Today we honor all the Scouts, leaders, families, and supporters who have helped shape our troop’s incredible legacy.

Parke Groff Day honors Parke Groff, Troop 48’s first Eagle Scout.

This day recognizes the trail he forged and the standard he set, marking the beginning of a legacy for all Eagles who follow. Through his leadership, perseverance, and commitment to Scouting, Parke established the path that continues to guide Troop 48 today and into the future.
