Fernando, just 11 months old, has already been through quite a journey. He was rescued with an injury to his nose requiring laser treatments to help him heal. He's a strong resilient boy, friendly, but on his own terms. He would do best in a calm home with no other cats where he can feel safe and continue to blossom. If you're someone who appreciates earning a cat's trust and giving a deserving kitty a second chance, Fernando may be your perfect match! If you'd like to meet Fernando, please submit an application using the link below. 🐈💖

My name is Freckles born May 17, 2018. I was sad because my owner passed, but very happy to be cared for now at HCHF. I'm somewhat shy, so I am in the shadows on adoption days. However, I'm learning to trust humans and enjoy love & pets on my terms. Would you have time and patience to bring me into your home please? If you'd like to meet me, please submit an application via the link below. 🐈💖

♻️ Turn your recyclables into help for cats and kittens! 🐱💙

Have scrap metal, aluminum or steel cans, old appliances, or even a flat-screen TV sitting around? Instead of letting it take up space, take it to Santoro Metals and turn your recyclables into support for animals in need!

📍 Santoro Metals
4701 Freedom Way, Weirton

When you drop off your recyclables, please ask them to put the money into the Hancock County Humane Foundation account. Your recycling can help provide food, medical care, shelter, and other necessities for the cats and kittens currently in our care. 🐾

They accept all kinds of metals, including:

Aluminum cans

Steel cans

Scrap metal

Appliances

Flat-screen TVs

And more!

Every little bit adds up, and your recycling can make a real difference for animals who need us. ❤️🐾

Questions? Call Santoro Metals at 304-919-1910.

Please share this post and help us spread the word! ♻️🐱💙
