Behind every volunteer is a real person with a full life.

A job. A family. A partner. Responsibilities. Hobbies. Their own pets. Plans. Dreams. A million things competing for their time.

And still, volunteers choose to give some of that valuable time to our non profit rescue. ❤️

You call her Stephanie….We call her our Adoption Manager — but she’s also a mom, wife, friend, yoga lover, digital strategist, and so much more.

Volunteering doesn’t mean having “extra” time. It means choosing to make time for something you believe in.

And there is so much that comes with that choice — the calls, messages, applications, coordinating, problem-solving, emotional investment, and the countless things that happen behind the scenes.

Stephanie is one of the people who chooses, over and over again, to make room in an already full life to help our dogs find their families.. and we are SO grateful!!!! ❤️🙌

Look how our dogs have blossomed.

These are some of our adoptable dogs—dogs who have grown, healed, learned to trust, and become more and more themselves while working towards finding the perfect match family.

Animal rescue is scary right now.

We have long-term dogs who aren’t getting applications.

We have dogs who are working so hard, meeting families, putting their best selves forward… only for the adoption not to pan out.

We are dedicated to our dogs for however long they need us. We will keep showing up. Keep advocating. Keep believing that their people are out there.

They are not forgotten. They are not giving up. And neither are we. ❤️
