Hey everyone! We have all looked at our calendars, and it looks like the date that we can have a work party for our October event is going to be september 12th. General cleanup, maybe a couple trees need to come down and just get the area prepped. We need supplies to clean the ho***rs so Ryan A it doesn't have to do them, that would be great. Start time of 8 am. If anyone wants to camp down there the night before or the night of the work party, i'm sure that could be arranged. As always many hands make quick work!

Plan ahead and let's fill this camp! Plenty of wood, water and as always ice will be provided by Nehawka volunteer fire department for a free will donation! There will be shooting, archery and hawk and knife. Tell your friends, family and co-workers to come see us as this is a living history event open during the day to public. We do have an area for nylon tents as well for those wanting to join us. Period dress encouraged but not required. As always no vehicles in camp (besides service vehicle for ice) and ALL dogs controlled and on a leash. (If its a barker please refrain from bringing as not to disturb the campers)

Just heard the Nehawka Heritage Festival is canceled this year. The camp WILL be happening regardless of this. We are separate from the NHF event. Just dont want any confusion.

So Im sure many have heard about the flood at corndodger station. Due to organizing and gathering camp items we are going to cancel camp this next weekend at Rustling Waters Encampment . There is going to be a benefit shoot/camp at the boyscout site camp cornhusker the weekend of May 9th. Many of these folks that lost their whole camp were at the KAS/NEB at Nehawka last year and loved the site and the community. IF you can PLEASE come down and donate camp gear or a monetary donation to help them get back to doing what they love. The rendezvous community is one big family and we all help each other out! There will be a flyer posted soon for the benefit camp. Thank you all for understanding!
