So Im sure many have heard about the flood at corndodger station. Due to organizing and gathering camp items we are going to cancel camp this next weekend at Rustling Waters Encampment . There is going to be a benefit shoot/camp at the boyscout site camp cornhusker the weekend of May 9th. Many of these folks that lost their whole camp were at the KAS/NEB at Nehawka last year and loved the site and the community. IF you can PLEASE come down and donate camp gear or a monetary donation to help them get back to doing what they love. The rendezvous community is one big family and we all help each other out! There will be a flyer posted soon for the benefit camp. Thank you all for understanding!

So it was brought at camp last weekend up to have a camp in April. Looking at the weekend of the 18th. Anyone have opinions on this date?

I’m going to put together a raffle for the proceeds to go to either those affected by the fires or to a fire department (In Nebraska). The winner will not just get a complete tent setup (tent, pole, and stakes) but will get to choose where the proceeds go!
Tent will be as pictured below: 10x10 pyramid with tipi style door, rear window, stakes, and center pole! ($1200 new!)

Work day this Saturday! Ryan Adams got us 30yrds of mulch that needs spread out and we have some tree clean up to do. If you can PLEASE come help! Planning on 9 am start. Nehawka doesn't have a bar for food anymore.So maybe we could all head down to nebraska city afterwards for a bite to eat! Gotta get the sight ready for the following weekend for our first camp of the year!
