The rule of thirds creates the lines.

But healing and growth often happen when we realize we are allowed to take up space beyond the lines we once placed around ourselves.

At Spark Hope, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe enough to become fully themselves.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

What does healing look like to you? There's no single answer, that's exactly the point. Healing looks different for everyone, and that's okay.

This month, Spark Hope is celebrating the many pathways to healing and the courage it takes to walk them.

📣 Calling all therapists and mental health providers in Massachusetts & New Hampshire.

Do you have patients with scars from self-injury? Are those scars a trigger point you address in treatment? Alleviation of that trigger point is now possible.

Spark Hope connects your clients to free medical scar revision, coordinated through the Therapist/Participant Diad to ensure supported care. You remain the clinical lead. We coordinate with vetted scar revision providers.

We have 50 spots available in MA & NH, and we'd love to have you in our network.

Our May Newsletter is here. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we're exploring the many pathways to healing — for individuals, families, and providers supporting loved ones through non-suicidal self-injury.

Inside: thoughtful articles, a virtual film screening, a Mental Health Awareness Month Zine, and a drop of inspiration.

We all know: hurt people hurt people.
Watch Chris Herren model another truth:
unhurt people unhurt people!

This film shows how we get upstream of self-harm:
Prevention = awareness and education for peers & caregivers.
Honored to also collaborate with the great Courtney Edman

Spark Hope is honored to be partnering with the Herren Project for a free, virtual screening of "The First Day" — a powerful documentary following former professional basketball player and recovery advocate Chris Herren.

Watch as Chris takes his story into auditoriums across the nation — engaging every person in the room and pointing all of us toward a new path: one rooted in compassion for ourselves and for each other."

After the screening, we'll join Herren & 2Tametheshame & other leaders in the field for a live Q&A — exploring practical, compassionate ways to reduce shame and alleviate suffering for individuals and families navigating recovery and mental health.

This conversation might change things. We'd love for you to be part of it.

Share this with someone who needs to see it. 💙 Appropriate for teens & caregivers.
