AID Boston MetroWest Association for India's Development (AID) is a volunteer movement promoting sustainable, equitable & just development. Boston MetroWest started in 2016.

AID Boston MetroWest is a new AID India chapter in the metrowest region of Greater Boston area. The chapter meetings currently occur at MathWorks Apple Hill campus every other Thursday. Follow the chapter discussions and participate by signing up at [email protected]

Join us for the 20th year of Teamaidasha . Train for a full or half marathon. This is the 20th year running of the program through which 500 runners have successfully finished full/half marathons and raised close to $1,000,000 (1M) to supports grassroots development in India.

Cyclone Yaas has left behind a trail of devastation more inconspicuous that Cyclone Amphan. Inadequate to no help has been provided by the government.

Local NGOs such as Baikunthapur Tarun Sangha (BTS) and Purba Chintamonipur Chetana Sangha need our support to continue working with the people who'd rather die that live under their current conditions.

While hundreds of houses are still under water, the storms triggered by the cyclone have inundated ponds and farmlands with saline water, possibly making the land uncultivable for years.

Respect Water Now...

We, the Boston and MetroWest chapters of the Association for India’s Development (AID), have a virtual event planned this Saturday - Milan 2020.

This year our keynote speakers are, Tara Ahluwalia and Lal Singh.
We will hear about social activism for women’s empowerment and gender equality, environmental justice for forests and the people of the forest, and have fun in an interactive setting with information galore on how to regenerate soil and restore ecology. As an attendee you attendees will be able to take away something valuable for life and have renewed vigor to support equitable climate action.
